| By now I’m sure everyone knows the origins of this tradition. Whether it is the vestiges of a pagan ritual or a tribute to the Saint Valentine, it’s all about love. |
 |
 |
 |
| Love has evolved much over the last few decades. Gone are the days of swooning when Donne's romantically declaimed that his luve is like a red red rose. Then, love was grand. Nowadays I'm told, divorce is 100 grand. |
 |
 |
 |
| And yet, love is all around us. Everyone has experienced it, if not expressed it. So, this Valentine's day, make it a point to express yourself. Whether it is to family, friends, boss or neighbour. Neighbour? you say. Well, why not? Remember the camaraderie of yore. When you actually knew your neighbours? Why not revive that and say hello to your neighbour. Who knows it might be the start of a wonderful relationship. |

 |
| Finally, many of my friends have decided to take the plunge this season. Here's a bit of advice to them. The four most important words in any marriage is "I'll do the dishes". |

Valentine's Day
Is a wonderful way
To make "I love you"
Easy to say.
Indeed it is…a wonderful reason in this busy world to stop…….and say…….”I love you”……
Love-birds thronging the city. Gifts in hands, dressed their best, carrying bunches of red roses.
Smiling without a reason is just another expression to show that you care for “that” person! :-)
Here are some tips on how to make the day even more special:
Where to go?
Café Coffee Day,
Fame,
Metro Cinema,
Big Bazaar,
Grub Club,
Starmark,
Mama Mia.
Romantic movies you can see together:
Jab We Met
Om Shanti Om
And if you’re confused as to what to gift your soulmate on this day, there are plenty of places and choices in my city!!
Rejoice!
1. Anjali Jewelers~~~For that shiny diamond pendant!
2. Rupa & Co~~~~for the book worm
3. Raymond Shop~~~~~For the handome hunk
4. Kumars’ Concern~~~~For the artist
5. Pantaloons~~~~For the shopaholic
6. Metro Plaza~~~~~For the fashion and gazette lover
7. And of course, New Market!

See you there!
Celebrate love!
