| By now I’m sure everyone knows the origins of this tradition. Whether it is the vestiges of a pagan ritual or a tribute to the Saint Valentine, it’s all about love. |

| Love has evolved much over the last few decades. Gone are the days of swooning when Donne's romantically declaimed that his luve is like a red red rose. Then, love was grand. Nowadays I'm told, divorce is 100 grand. |

| And yet, love is all around us. Everyone has experienced it, if not expressed it. So, this Valentine's day, make it a point to express yourself. Whether it is to family, friends, boss or neighbour. Neighbour? you say. Well, why not? Remember the camaraderie of yore. When you actually knew your neighbours? Why not revive that and say hello to your neighbour. Who knows it might be the start of a wonderful relationship. |

Ingredients:
Stylish sweaters - match 'em well - 2 nos.
Tickets to the next big thing - Particularly 2 nos. only.
Money to buy some shiny things. ;) - To taste.
Place to buy a big big ring. :) - To taste.
Love treats from sweet shops - For garnishing.
Rose Petals - With love, on a platter. :)
Recipe:
Dress up in your new sweaters. Take your Mister/Miss Hallabaloo to a zoo. Just so they know how much they mean to you. Or take Hallabaloo to a movie theater. Watch a cheesy love flick or a sci-fi flick. How does it matter as long as you're together. Add the rest of the ingredients, and mark it the best day of your life with the perfect ring. :)
And Live Happily Ever After.
