i'm a bangalorean....and being of the laid back variety- i'm replying to this question just a month after it was asked!!!! Any other bangaloreans from the good ol' days around? do write in - for pure nostalia value!!!!
though i must admit - despite the mess the city is in these days - i'd be at a loss without a namdhari or dominos pizza in the neighbourhood. sure an improvement to the neighbourhood kadde (which is called royal stores and is still alive - though barely!) or the now defunct Macs on church street!!!!

dear roo u, as a bangalorean - i'd say stay away from bangalore!!!!!
its a mess - over crowded and lousy infrastructure.
and besides there are enough and more outsiders!!!! so stay away!!!!!

By the way I'm from Kolkata, the city that has the third highest number of "outsiders" and I,
infact nobody from my city, minds if more such "outsiders" find our city
worthy of the migration........
