A man wanted to enter an eXclusive club but did not know the password
that
was required. He waited by the door and listened.

A club member knocked on the door and the doorman said, "twelve." The
member replied, "six " and was let in.

A second member came to the door and the doorman said, "six." The
member
replied, "three" and was let in.

The man thought he had heard enough and walked up to the door. The
doorman
said ,"ten" and the man replied, "five."

But he was not let in. What should have he said?

Comon guys, put on your thinking caps & get the solution......

Kudos to ADI & PRAVEEN.

Try this!

1. There is a man who lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Everyday he gets the elevator down to the ground floor to leave the building to go to work. Upon returning from work though, he can only travel half way up in the lift and has to walk the rest of the way unless it's raining! Why?
2. A man and his son are met with a car accident. The father dies on the scene, but the child is rushed to the hospital. When he arrives the surgeon says, "I can't operate on this boy, he is my son!" How can this be?
3. A man is wearing black. Black shoes, socks, trousers, lumper, gloves and balaclava. He is walking down a black street with all the street lamps off. A black car is coming towards him with its light off but somehow manages to stop in time. How did the driver see the man?

For 1) The man may be short & he can access only half of the buttons and can use elevator only half the way but during rainy days he anyways will carry umbrella so he can actually access all the lift buttons .

Hello All,

Lot of you got the answers. CLAPS...

If u want me to repeat the answers... here u go...

1. The man is very, very short and can only reach halfway up the elevator buttons. However, if it is raining then he will have his umbrella with him and can press the higher buttons with it.
2. The surgeon was his mother.
3. It was day time.

.......

Now as per request... here are some more questions...try these...

1) A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning. Why did the man not die?

2) A woman had two sons who were born on the same hour of the same day of the same year. But they were not twins. How could this be so?

Answers are,

1. The poison in the punch came from the ice cubes. When the man drank the punch, the ice was fully frozen. Gradually it melted, poisoning the punch.
2. They were two of a set of triplets (or quadruplets, etc.).

Good Job Adi. Since Adi got the answers let we check out some more.....

1. Ram and Sam are keen tennis players. One Sunday, they go to their local tennis club in Mumbai and play 3 tennis matches in a row. Then they leave. Afterwards, over coffee, they realised that they had both lost and won the same number of matches.
The question is:
HOW COULD THEY HAVE WON AND LOST THE SAME NUMBER OF MATCHES? REMEMBER, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DRAW IN A TENNIS MATCH.

2 .It was the year 2045 and, would you believe, Rhys became President of the USA. On the day he took office, Rhys held his first high-level meeting at the White House. The meeting was held in a south facing room. It was daylight, it wasn’t raining and it wasn’t foggy. But still, when Rhys looked out of the window, he couldn’t see the top of the Empire State Building.
The question is:
WHY?

JAY KAY   A 7 months ago
Again Adi did it. As he said, the answers are:

1. Ram and Sam were playing against their girlfriends, not against each other
2. The White House is in Washington, the Empire State Building in New York

All, try this one....

1.Jacob owned the modern charter aircraft that was carrying, amongst others, 12 Jewish families back home after their 3 week Turkish holiday. Unfortunately, the plane developed a serious malfunction and crash-landed on the border between Switzerland, France and northern Italy.
The question is:
LOOKING AT THIS PURELY FROM A LEGAL STANDPOINT, WHERE SHOULD THE SURVIVORS BE BURIED?
2. You are refereeing a Jewish football match between Brady Maccabi and the Tel Aviv All Stars. Four of the 22 players on the pitch are called Moishe (1 in the Brady team and 3 in the Tel Aviv team) and three of the players are called Sidney (2 in the Brady team and 1 in the Tel Aviv team). Both goalkeepers are called Abbe.
The question is:
CAN YOU WORK OUT THE NAME OF THE REFEREE? 3. When Benjy wakes up on Sunday mornings, he always follows the same routine. He takes a shower, shaves and has a light breakfast. Then he goes out for his Sunday run. He always follows the same route around Edgware/Stanmore and it always takes him 85 minutes from the time he leaves home to the time he returns.
One Sunday morning, he wakes up after a late night out and for the first time ever, just can’t be bothered to shave. He goes out for his Sunday run along his normal route and this time it takes him one hour and twentyfive minutes to complete.
The question is:
WHY IS THIS?

Anand M
Anand   M 7 months ago
Hmm..

Answer to 2) Referee is me - His name is Anand :)

3) it actually took him the same time - 1hr 25 minutes = 85 minutes. So what is the question?

did not understand 1) - but i guess if everyone survived - there is no problem.
