Bangalore! Just compare the aaloo-pyaj rates n you'll know.

To add to our woes, the auto guys from Coimbatore and Chennai are migrating here n holding us ransom - specially on dark rainy nights.

I think mumbai - specially if you cannot move in a train . Taxi's are too costly and time consuming.

guys the costiliest city has to be "guwahati".....
firstly, in guwahati its hard to get what you want......
n even if you manage to find it....it will turn out to be very expensive....
everything there, from food to clothing, is pretty expensive....

It has to be either Mumbai or Delhi. No other city qualifies if the rating is done on important parameters like Fuel, Commodities rates, travel cost, Housing cost, access to reasonable priced hotels and reasonable clothing options.

Its but obviuosly Mumbai!!

Half of your salary is spent in paying the rent of your place, which is most of the times smaller than a bird's nest.

Even monthly transport costs a bomb!! Aur paise dekar dhakke khaane ko milte hain!!

Baki ke bacche-khucche paison mein aadmi khaye kya aur khilaye kya!!!!!!!!

I think it should be Bengaluru of the southern states but the cities in Kerala are not far behind considering the flow of Gulf money
