i would say raga 'vibhas' of jaipur atroli gharana with shuddha dhaivat sounds very sweet.
igenerally,in vibhas of marva that, dhaivat is komal.
listen kishori amonkar(for jaipur gharana 'vibhas')

| Hey Stuti.....could you please guide me as to which God/Godess we need to do "stuti" for bringing rains to Delhi.We had a cool respite the whole of June with temp.never going to the 40's but the humidity after an early fake monsoon notice by weather department is killing.I know Tansen was the Master in ragaas like Megh-Malhar and Raag Deepak but is it true that rendition of Megh-Malhar brings rains?

| Fortunately...there are some level headed people who drive this forum...so rest assured you will not have to compromise your lingo for that......as for me....I am cool with communicating in any language I know....and if you really have seen the current state of Mumbai....you would realize that this party is not on the wrong side.....just that it should only be active in Mumbai...coz it is really not necessary anywhere else.

| Mildie that is the whole problem...the buck does not stop there...taking a cue from Raj....Chandrababu will emulate it in A.P. and Nagaraj-ullu would do it in Bangalore....as it is local travel by bus in Bangalore is difficult due to the destination tags being only in kannad...with Times's Teach India campaign...many people can now read English...if you want to teach them Marathi...you're welcome.

Blistering Barnacles!!!! looks like the raga got distorted!!!!! And whats this ruckus over lingo????
Anyways, I have an insomnia problem and there is raag Bageshwari & Khamaj which helps a lot if you listen to it at night. Max an hour and then you have a very soothing effect and it calms you down.
Very very helpful as a long-term therapy for insomniacs!!!
