Instead....you could join them , have a drink or two ....and forget about the law.......or you could still join them and after getting sloshed...climb the terrace of your city slum house...and start shouting.....I wanna be... wanna be...wanna be Jim Morrison....and if you are looking for a creepy answer....all you need to do is rub the bottle you found yesterday...and lo and behold a genie named stephen would come to rescue your soul.....and then you would be amazed to know the history and geography of your city slum which you were unaware of....and yes you could also gather some useful insights on how to handle such a situation...do you need more???

Yeah...In a ceremony to felicitate people with astounding general knowledge...stephen would win hands down....but then again I can't blame my mentor who's taking the pain to resurrect me....so I'll simply listen.

Here comes the hot steppen....remember me and I'm here...Uday...I take it you're refering to A.P. State where Prohibition is not in force....but irrespective of whether there's prohibition in force or not...you have full rights to fight injustice...On a written complaint they can be hauled IN for drinking in public and causing public nuisance....rather then the NGO...it would be better if you have some Media on your side as besides highlighting the harassment they can also pressurize the local administration to get their act in place.Just as you have written here....give a similiar write-up in Times...Express whatever available ....spread it around and warn the youths that next mail will carry their names as well....that should do the trick....All the Best!

Why is it that mentor has to come up with something ridiculous always???....but then again there is a logic in the explanation...if you have to entertain some johhny(who seems to be entertained by amazingly ridiculous answers) here. ....you have to come up with some tricks on your sleeve....and then to really mess it all up...all you need is to stick to your basic principle of not using your brains.....just keep vomitting with whatever comes to your mouth...and then the recepie for a succesful boring read is ready....the end result...you can put people to sleep just by talking.

Hi Mild, your answer joining them &.. wanna be .. Jim Morrison - was good too,. I alreadt said it was 'nice' - safe & sound.

About "principle of not using your brains" i had thought of this issue and didnt got feasible answer as stephen came up with, I would like to add Your solution was Good Too.

Hey Mild ,.. thanks about "principle of not using your brains" pill -- i just reminded a one year stay at dichpalli, nizambad some years ago there every evening the village culture associated youth of the area into some kabadhi playing which was definetly healthy & quite effective way of spending time.

As motivational writer Shiv Kher (author of YOU CAN WIN ) write's -- ones decisions/action does effect community/surrounding.That is why responsiblity toward community comes becomes vital.

Hope!! involving with people, influencing can also give result in very long run,..

About Stepin and Your(Mild ,..) feedback yes it is better "you have some Media on your side as besides highlighting the harassment " and " get in close with them " --- Here i would definetly like to add community heads in near area on my side,, hoping for better future for communty with involvment programs the alternatives like khabadii, and other good ones to be influence in near community.

Praying for Better Community for Future,
Cheers to Mild ,.. & Stephen!

In this regard i would like to add two urls : http://www.cbi.gov.in/default.php == CBI, India & http://www.apstatepolice.org/html/home.jsp == apstatepolice

In A.P ,, Dial the toll free number 1090 Crime Stopper Cell at the District Head Quarters (without fearing that your identity will be revealed) could be useful for more serious situatio than this.

I would like to particpate in news paper letter columns to influence(for good) the community better or put the community in focus (as we know 'people' care about the area's only when it is election time) , thanks Mild .., & stephen for ur suggestion.

Okay...It seems that you are the next wanna be "stephen"....Unlike stephen I am not here to give any solution...nor entertain anybody....I am here to understand what is it that drives the employed idle people of INDIA...and what can be done to put their thoughts in place so that like you put it "Praying for Better Community for Future"...whatever....so ineffect I can start writing a thesis on "Employed and so what next?"....useful read for the idle.

Uday

Have you had a talk with the drunken revelers yet?

We had the same problem years ago when we were a noisy group of people occupying a flat. (Drinks was not the problem, we generally used to make a lot of noise after office hours). However, no one ever told us so till one day a person shows up on our door and starts shouting/throwing obscenities at us. We told him that if he had been having a problem, he should have told us a lot earlier rather than coming and shouting at us like that.

Needless to say, we mended our ways so that people were not disturbed.

So it might just be a matter of you frankly letting them know that they are a pain, rather than taking extreme steps like getting police/media involved. I think they would be more considerate in future.

Anshu dear....you need to be specific...that is which part of the body are they(drunken friends) a pain...also you need to find out when they are in their senses coz your request would otherwise fall on fully loaded mind...and you can't also wake them up from a alcohol induced slumber to inquire of them as to why they won't play "Kabaddi" with you....as for me...I'm waiting to buy the First Edition of a would be Hit Paper Back titled:"Employed and so what next?"....by Mr.Wild....I'm sorry Peary Lal....but then one thing is proved beyond doubt that our dear friend pyarey has a conscience which makes him add apologetic notes to his wild comments...so : Where's the Party tongiht..?

Stephen I do think that whenever you would talk to them, there would be some steady minds to comprehend what you are saying.

Anyway any other action should only be followed if the first line of communication breaks down.

Anshu citing your own example you showed how you turned around your noisy neighbours to mend fences with you,but when the neighbour is a drunkard...you'll have to use a different approach....you may be of steady mind but the mischief-monger would have taken leave of his senses and in such a situation no amount of request or explaination can succeed....social drinking...to a limit for enjoyment is allowable and even a health improving medicine...but once over-limit and a regular practice at that is what makes the situation uncomfortable for others.

Hi Mild .., as "The Alchemist - by Paul Coelho " suggest nothing was not be be coincedence/incidence, dont worry you suggested your intial thought, no problem - but i got point to need to "miggle" with community. ya i have not made comment to elder they are looking to sort out things smoothly. I have made a comment online because if any of our country men/women have serious problem(more worst than mine) how can they approach the same. I had question but expert answer, better feasible approaches coming from our discussions.

Anshuman thanks for you feedback, ya at times if people well conducted, caring like you things may work.If person is neglient, " mischief-monger " as Stpehen refer to it i am sure we should adopt diffrent approach.
thanks stephen, mild ,. anushuman.

Mildie preference for ladies drink...ensured a mild approach but men who differ from boys and ladies and are known to be strong would naturally come out with strong comment or suggestion as is their nature.
