| Well I agree but thats wherein I mentioned a fat salary, so that u can have an a/c car so that u r not exposed to heat, have a flat somehwhere close to where u work, and as long as u r staying in a posh locality..... But Veda u r right when you are talking about people earning hand to mouth or probably a decent salary but if u r earning great den Mumbai rocks!!!!!

Not exactly.... For example: owning a 3 or 4 bedroom house or duplex with a garden and garage would mean you're loaded if it's in Mumbai. But it's not such a big deal in a lot of places... I drove past Sharukh Khan's Mannat the other day and I know several people in Pune with bigger places to themselves than that. And in Mumbai even if you do have a comfortable car with an ac and driver, the time taken to travel from one place to another, not just work, will be quite a bit. Besides, no amount of cash can keep the Monsoon away.
Having said that, Mumbai is definitely loads of fun, and is possibly a place that everyone should live in for at least a while before deciding whether it's the right place for them. You probably need to travel a bit, check out other cities for yourself before making a decision. The world is Large, and there presumably are places out there that may not be Home to you, but given a chance, would be lovely to live in.

Well I believe if we get about the minute facts of a city then we can have an endless discusiion on the same... 3 and 4 bedrooms house with a garden and a garage are things which people hardly care about coz they do not even get time to use all their rooms or their garden.
Talking about travelling, I have been travelling all acroass India coz this is my passion and not by air or train but by road, driving down to different places, covering even the rural areas.. I have lived in most of the cities but Mumbai is the best as there is no communication barrier and also it is the safest city for gals. Also there are so many places to enjoy that u can hardly get bored of the city....
Also when someone talks about monsoon and rain, coz of global warming weather of most places r changing. So we cannot vote out a city coz of the weather as u never know that the next monsoon other cities, can b facing the worst of the problems....

I've been thinking about enjoying Mumbai if you're really rich. And if you're really rich, the standard of your lifestyle and opportunities you have access would not actually change from city to city.
