If you are looking at a place for the perrfect cakes that are made to order and seem straight out of a photograph from a Culinary book,Monica's is the place to be..
You can almost get all the kinds of cakes and pasteries and bakery products that you would have ever read about.
Mudcakes,cheesecakes,fr uitcakes,rum cakes(which is yum by the way!)..they even have preserves in flavours of Cherry,Strawberry, Red Currant etc.This bakery has provision for tarts,fudges,muffins and cookies as well..and what is a bakers without breads?..so, you can freak out on the garlic,cheese.plain,brown breads,croissants et al.
The prices are reasonable with relation to the quality that you will get.Rs.350-400 for medium size cakes and about 200 for a box of really well baked cookies.(both eggless and otherwise)
These bakers still believe in welcoming a new entrant anywhere with delicious stuff,so they have beautiful packing for their cakes and other goodies..
They take orders on phone too,but the facility of homedelivery is not there.However,there is a cute table for two at the bakery itself.
