Pathetic Service-Venture at Your Own Risk!
Karaikudi was one among my favourite restaurants but my last visit totally changed my opinion. On entering the Karaikudi on R.K. Road, I was happy to be back to my favourite restaurant. But the bad service made me swear that I would never come back to the restaurant.
Dining out is a complex occasion and the reason to like or hate a restaurant depends on a couple of factors. The food being the first one. Karaikudi has some of the best dishes, the egg briyani being my favourite. Apart from that, they have Chettinad Meals and also a wide range of meat, fish and chicken curries. An average mean for two would come around Rs. 500. Though the food is good, the service is pathetic.
I am a person who truly believes in enjoying my meal and that is what didn’t happen here. The waiters are in a hurry to usher you out. Moreover, the service is so pathetic that before we could order dessert the bill was literally thrown at us. This made me hate the restaurant to the core.
What’s the use of having the best food when the service is so awful? Karaikudi at R.K Salai tops my list of the Worst Restaurants in the city. Venture out to this restaurant if you have no expectations of service or if you are ok with faulty service.
