"Cellular" is about getting a phone call for a mission of saving a human family.
A innocent women named Jessica Martin (Kim Basinger) has been kidnapped by some persons - the main of them is - Ethan (Jason Statham). The life of her family is in danger if she do not cooperate. The kidnappers think that she knows what they want .. But she didnt know abt that. She has been locked up in a dark room.. She joines together the pieces of a broken telephone and makes a random call by joining the wires.. The call is picked up by Ryan (Chris Evans) .
Ryan was such a guy that noone can believe that he has been chosen by god for such a mission critical job.. Jessica asks Ryan to save her and her family from this evil kidnappers.. Confused Ryan decides to help Jessica.. But there is no plan of how to save her. So ryan does whatever comes in his mind and he thinks its better for the moment..
Mooney (William H. Macy) - a about to retire police officer who has not achieved much as an police officer in his entire life, involves in this life saving process very slowly..
Whats the purpose behind this kidnap?... Hmmm for that you have to watch the movie.. And let me tell you the climax will not let you go off which usually happens with many other hollywood movies.
The best performance in the movie i liked the most is of Ryan (Chris Evans).
Moral of the story : Whatever call you receive, pick it up since it can be as important as saving a life of an human being...
A movie worth watching.. Kudos to Director David Richard Ellis for directing such a thrilling movie.
