Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na is Imran Khan’s launch pad with extra springs. Jai Singh Rathore (Imran Khan) is a peace loving guy whose world revolves around his best pal Aditi a.k.a. Meow (Genelia) and a gregarious friends’ circle with Rotlu, Jiggy, Bombs and Shaleen.
Everyone presumes that Aditi and Jai to be in love but the fact is that they are the best of friends till Jai falls for Meghna (Manjari Phadnis), Aditi realises that she’s in love with Jai. The rest of the flick is about how they discover their love for each other.
The story is narrated in a very attractive format engrossing you till the very end. Imran Khan as Jai is simply awesome and realistic helping you instantly connect with his on screen persona. Genelia fits the bill perfectly and is her chirpy self. Naseerudin Shah is perfect as the Raja Rathore while Paresh Rawal is the funny cop.
The music by maestro A.R. Rahman is a sure shot success with Kabhi Kabhi Aditi running in your mind even after the movie ended. Jaane Tu... is a funny and light entertainer, defying logic but is worth a watch.
