There are some things in life which you would never in your widest dreams imagine that you would do it. Something of that sort happened to me. Never did I (for the life of me) think that I would watch Mr.White Mr. Black. But watch I did and was amazed too.
The story is about a bumbling, village yokel (Suneil Shetty) who comes in search for his small-time crook brother (Arshad Warsi) to persuade him to return to the village and claim his land. But Arshad Warsi has no intention to return to the village as he’s stumbled upon three beautiful (Yep! Women!) crooks who have absconded with diamonds. As the rush for diamonds gets hotter by the minute, Suneil Shetty gets pulled into the quagmire.
After Priyadarshan set the trend, almost every other director wants to dip his fingers into comedy. Mr. White Mr. Black is a good stress buster but that’s just about it. No linking between the plots and no performance by any actor which would make you sit up and take notice.
Arshad Warsi is in his element but the charismatic actor doesn’t sizzle as he did in his other successful flicks. The music is also nothing great to write about. overall, the flick looks like the actors were all out to have fun at the expense of the audience.
