Anasuya is a journalist who does Criminal Psychology course. She works for a private TV channel to
uncover facts and happenings. She happens to cross roads with a serial killer and the rest of the
movie is about the murders the killer commits and how anasuya faces him.
Bhumika is good in the title role and gives a memorable performance. Ravibabu has always been a good actor and here he proves his mettle again as an intense actor. Abbas is ok.
The movie opens with a murder giving an indication as to how the remaining movie would be. Ravibabu
maintained the grip through out the movie and never lost it. The screenplay is the best among
Ravibabu's works so far. The photography is good and Ravibabu, like Varma relies on sound effects to
scare the audience. And succeeds too.
Ravibabu tries to establish the character of Anasuya through her interview episode. She comes across
as a very shrewd person and a keen observer. But this is not maintained all through the movie. Apart
from that interview scene, her criminal psychology background is not used anywhere and one keeps
wondering why Ravibabu chose to show this fact in such powerful way.
Overall movie runs at good pace and keeps the viewer glued to the seat. You can watch it to forget everything else for over 2 hrs.
