Kamat Hotel belongs to Kamat group of hotels which are spread in most of the cities in India. In hyderabad you will find many branches of kamat out of which one i have visited is situated in koti.
The location of the hotel is not proper. It is situated between the shops in one of the shopping complex here. So it is hard to visualize.
When you reach the first floor, you will find separate sections for AC and Non-AC. Ambience is not so good as one would expect to be of such a widely spread hotel group.
As the hotel is situated in koti's main market, the outside noise irritates a lot. So, you will not feel relaxing there. Also seating arrangement is not of good quality. People who visit kamat generally prefers South-Indian / North-Indian thalis rather than going for other dishes as they are not worth eating.
The North-Indian thali comes with lot of varieties like 3 veg curries , paratha or Tandoori , Dal , veg biryani , fried rice , plain rice and ice-cream at the end. But the taste will really not satisfy you.
Customer service is also bad. You have to call them atleast thrice before they reach your table and the order is placed after a long time.
