Rithesh
Nestled in a place of bustle
Kshetra is located right behind the Eenadu office, which in turn is near the Khairatabad redlight. This also means it is rather close to the various hotspots and the many Taj's on Road #1, Banjara Hills. Considering the lack of open environs in this prime Hyderabad location, it is quite pleasing to find a spacious restaurant like Kshetra. Since it is off the main road, you are isolated from the traffic and the associated noise. And parking is available in plenty.
The restaurant has dining tables both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor tables and chairs are of the cast-iron variety whereas the inside is more sombre. In my various visits, I haven't really seen the AC running. And it can sometimes get stuffy inside. However, in the winters, the place is rather comfy.
Coming to the food itself, it is pretty good. An Indian Thali would set you back by 90 bucks and comes with a soup, the main course and an icecream. There is the standard South + North Indian fare. On top of this, they also serve good continental delicacies like baked dishes, lasagnes et al.
Sans air conditioning, if you plan on visiting a nice, quiet, friendly, spacious restaurant that serves decent food, Kshetra should be on your list!
