Surprisingly comfy for its cost
Blues is a lounge bar (supposedly) that has come up on Road # 14 Banjara Hills and is close to Hyudai Service Centre and Kuna's Guest house, for those who would like to discover it. This place was earlier known as Spice Touch, a restaurant with no spirits. The transformation from a restaurant to adopting lounge bar misnomer for itself, has been pretty rapid. I guess they realized pretty early which way the wind flows.
Anyway, the entrance is decked in blue lighting (I guess to give some appeal to its name), which makes it look cheap. The interiors are dark and there was little I could make out of the surroundings, except the basic bar area and the wall mounted LCD TV.
The biggest pleasant surprise was the prices. The bar is very competitively priced on liquids with Bud costing 140 bucks and KF only 110. We tried a few fish dishes for starters and though they were nothing to write home about, keeping the prices in mind , I wouldn't complain either. Only complain is the quantity of the serving.
Service is tad slow but overall fine.
The place is not a lounge bar no matter what they say. It is just another cheap bar but very comfy one.
I would recommend the place for weekend winding down when you are not looking to spend a huge lot. However, this is not a place you would take your better half to.
