The King Kong of Pubbing
Bottles n Chimney (BnC for short) is undoubtedly the most famous and the most visited pubs in Hyderabad. And it wears its reputation well, that of being the most talked about pub in the weekend circles.
When it was started it was rumoured to be the biggest pub in Asia but having visited it a few times, I would have to take that claim with a serving-spoonful of salt. Not that I have seen too many other pubs elsewhere. Anyway, back to reviewing.
The place may not be huge but it certainly is impressive! Weekdays there are no cover charges but on weekends you have to pay cover which is adjusted with your bill.
The place inside is a mix of bar stools, lounge, and tables. The interiors are done well and the ambience is right on. As the night wears on the ground floor doubles up as the disc.
The service is usually quick but I would expect it to be better for the amount they charge. They do not like two people occupying couches and it rubbed me the wrong way, how they tried explaining it.
The liquids here are pretty amazing. It caters to everyone - right from your standard wine menu to imported brands to exotic cocktails and mocktails. Food - I never got around digging the food once the BnC party started, so probably others may add to this.
Music is great and later in the evening they only play dance - numbers a mix of English, Hindi and Punjabi. Good music to be footloose.
For letting your hair down after that damn tiring week, get to BnC and party hard. You will certainly get the value for your money.
