Consistent, Authentic fine dining
This is one restaurant where food quality and taste has been consistently good. What differentiates f9 from the rest is that they are able to replicate continental dishes with imprressive authenticity. Another plus is that their food is cooked using minimal oil, flavours retained and mild spice levels.
Service standards are satisfatory. The service on weekend nights can get slow but remains attentive. It is a fine dining restaurant and for a restaurant in its class the pricing is acceptable.
Decor is contemporary (although i much preferred their earlier decor) and adequately lit. Slight hints of rustic creates a relaxed atmosphere. Music veries between buddha bar types to typical restaurant type jazz. Kitchen can be seen through an open glass wall. Bar counter can get an interesting point as its in the centre with a good view of everyone else. Also quicker to get the next drink!
Their italian dishes are a must. For those who enjoy a thin crust italian pizza with minimal toppings this is the place....it beats the rest of the pack hands down. Also try their grilled murrel sizzler. The mediterranean/ lebanese faire is also nice.Good quality of meats that are well marinated/ flavoured.
The best brunch in town...especially for those who enjoy sampling foods and salads from around the world. There is lots of good stuff so go with a big big appetite. Book ahead if going on a weekend. Crowd is very upmarket, well behaved and lots of expatriates.
A must do for anyone with a well cultured taste for international cuisine
