For vegetarians in search of an Italian binge
Little Italy is a restaurant for special occasions especially if you are not the moneyed type! When looking at the menu, ignore the price. Or else, you might tend to shriek out "Mama Mia". While Little Italy may be expensive, it can also make your special occasions memorable in case you fancy some amazing Italian food. Here's a free tip: Despite its premium pricing (by Hyderabad standards), do not expect Little Italy to be empty. Otherwise, on weekends, you will end up running into a packed restaurant!
Coming to the food, what can I say? In two words, it's fantastic. But the darned problem is that every single dish obviously has an Italian name and the descriptions hardly do justice. While taste is subjective, I'd like to recommend the asparagas soup, the lasagnes, the pasta dishes and the delectable tiramisu, which is an Italian dessert that has been known to drive people to delirium.
Customer service is warm and friendly. But it would be great if they can be more helpful to the folks who are newbies to an Italian culinary experience. If you don't know your pasta from your ravioli, well, good luck. Sula Wineyards seems to have some sort of a deal with Little Italy and you can sample a whole range of wines apart from your usual alcoholic and non alcoholic concoctions. Lastly, in case you didn't notice the title of the review, be warned. Little Italy serves only vegetarian food.
