The Tangerine Spa and Salon - is a wholly owned subsidiary of Latitudes Health Private Limited, the leading health club in Hyderabad. Situated right over Latitudes, this Spa and Salon in Hyderabad offers some of the best services and packages in the city.
The Spa and Salon offer a variety of services both for men and women - Massages, Body Scrubs, Body wraps, all facial treatments, hair treatments and skin treatments. For the women they also have a special bridal services packages.
Now about the experience. Right from the time you make a booking, you will notice an amazingly high quality of staff who are well groomed to take absolute care of you. One of the weekends last month, i called up to make an appointment which was promptly given to me at my request timed of 5:00 PM. I land at the Spa and am offered some refreshing mineral water and a menu to pick the services i need. I was explained the different services and their positives and negatives. I picked a haircut, shave and the 1 Hour Signature Massage - A massage designed to relax the muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. The main purpose of this massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. This massage is not only relaxing, but also invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being. This massage takes one hour to complete.
Once this was confirmed, they assigned an assistant for my service. He accompanied me to the Salon and asked the stylist to take care of my Hair cut and Shave. I must say, they have an impressive salon, with the best products used. You would notice only Products like L’Oreal, or Gillette or the high end of the cosmetics line up. After a neat hair cut and shave, i was again escorted to the Spa service for the massage.
Tangerine has a whole set of rooms with single and double beds lined up for their massage services. Once at the Spa service, i was offered some more water, and also asked about the ambience i would like in my personal massage room. I picked their standard massage room lighting, with lavender aroma for the room and light instrumental music at a room temperature of 23 degrees. YES, these are choices you have!
Once through with the setting, i was offered a change room and robes and asked to move to my room. They provide you with a locker for your valuables as well. The Massage Therapist was amazing, he did everything right and i was off to sleep within in the first 10 minutes of the massage. It was just intoxicatingly relaxing!
Once the massage was over, i was offered the sauna or steam room services and I picked steam. After 20 minutes in the steam room, i had a shower. They have amazingly modern shower rooms with all amenities. Clean towels, shampoos, and Soaps.
Once showered and changed, you are offered some water, and juice or Tea. You also have a food menu with a few healthy offerings. All the items have the calories and fat contents highlighted.
It was a truly relaxing experience. I intend to be there at least once every month!
Now on the price! It is definitely not cheap, but compared to the service and ambience they offer, it is worth a visit once a month or once every 2 months for rejuvenating your body. For a massage prices start at 800/- for a back massage and can go as high as 3000/- depending on the type of massage. Body wraps and scrubs are about 1400/-. Facials start at 600/- and can be as steep as 4500/- Hair cut can range from 150-300/-. For the women they have whole list of services from 100- to about 15000/- - Manicure, pedicure, waxing, threading, bleaching, make ups, mehndi, bridal make ups, hair treatments and host of other services.
On the whole if you are willing to spend about 1500 - 2000/- once every 2 months for that 1 Hr of bliss - Tangerine Spa and Saloon is the place!
