Hmm... So one more retail chain of stores which are mushrooming in the buzzing Indian Retail sector.. Health and Glow a franchise of Food world.
Product portfolio: Cosmetics (men and women), Personal care and Medicines
Let me describe a breif stint of mine in this wonderful store:
1. Take a turn and i find ample parking space to park my bike
2. I deposit my office bag at the security outside and take a number. ... But the quote at the security: WE ARE NOT RESPOSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OF ARTICLES DEPOSITED HERE" gimme a break.. Then why should I deposit..??? Don’t u think the management should give it a thought?
2. I move in and I find all ladies dressed in formals and of course gaudy lipsticks.. Expecting us to think they are polished.. Alas if only dressing would have made all the difference
3. Now I come across this lady probably she was new does not know anything abt the laut of the stall but she always asks what is that we want .. i have nothing against the ung lady .. but should not the management think tank mark her as a buddy and put her under some one experienced ???
3. When moving around the stall , I appreciate the fact that the height of the racks have been kept low at eye level or keeping in mind the average height of an Indian female .. however they can propose to increase it a bit more as we were bending in most cases
4. The ambience was pleasing brightly lit and has pleasing colours around but the A/C was not effective
5. Each of the racks obviously had products and very neatly categorised as per their usage but here again they missed the soul, they did not seperate men cosmetics from that women
6. Guys would obviously feel a bit when they wish to shop in womens cosmetic show room .. though his needs might be met ..Health and glow should get out this feminine look of the whole stall.. Ofcourse there would be some men who would like to go just because it is feast for eyes :)...
