An oasis of calm
Taramati Baradari is located somewhat close to the Golconda Fort. It is a perfect place for a weekend getaway - away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You have rooms to stay overnight, a swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant. There is also a souvenir shop for visiting travelers to pick up something for their near and dear ones.
In case you are the type who fancies fancy drinks, then be warned. The bar doesn't really have a lot of variety. To be honest, the food is just average. It has a great environment and is surrounded by green lawns. For the historically inclined, a climb of about a 100 steps will lead you to the actual baradari from where Taramati supposedly entertained the ruler of the Golconda fort.
