Grounds of delight...
To compare, this place is better than the upstairs one at CP, but not as nice as the super upstairs and downstairs at CP. So it's somewhere in beween, but works just fine for the hundreds od people (student and otherwise) that lounge here. The ambience is comforting - mellow lighting, soft music and well-controlled temps make for a pleasant experience. If anything, its the crowd that turns you off initially, but one is soon able to forget the slightly high level of noise in the delicious treats the place has to offer. Self-service is the norm - so you order and collect yourself. The vast arrayof beverages and desserts allows you to also customise your order to an extent with specific instructions - something that everyone is looking for in a coffeeshop. You can charge your phone here while you eat/drink, only keep an occassional watchout for theives. The place is ideal not only for pleasure, but also business, as people can be seen discussing work over steaming mugs. Overall pleasing.
