Apparently this World Food Fest is a rip-off. It seems like they're spending all the money meant for food on hiring creatures who look remotely like natives of the countries they represent. Anyway, it seemed through the miserable portions they served here that there's a famine SOMEWHERE. Or maybe its just because they're paying outrageous rent at the mall. Either way, I shouldn't have to suffer for it. But I did, which didnt go down very well with me. Ambience was fine, same stuff everywhere. Its the service that counts and how importantly they treat you and I can frankly say - not very good. For one, they took an awful long time to get us menus. Secondly, when I couldn't hear him above the din, he repeated himself in Hindi. I personally took offence - why would he have to make himself heard in Hindi when I'd just asked him a question in English?!! Anyway, food took a while more than the fifteen minutes he promised and then it wasnt very hot. And did I mention, the portions were fit for pigeons! I also didnt like that the entire place was glass and made it very easy for people to peer in and stare at you eating. Privacy has always been of value with me and at this place, I didnt get any. Hmph!
