Cheap Yet Cheap.
Lets talk about eateries that were complete nightmares. Host in the inner circle of Connaught Place tops my list. The ambiance seemed nice and the crowd was no noisy even on a weekend. But as my mom has taught me, I knew the looks could deceive and it helped me stay calm when my food was served.
You know it does get on your nerves when a dish that cost you Rs. 150, comes a an ice-cream cup sized saucer. And nothing extra-ordinary tasting either! I was all fumes and still am. Half of their dishes are bland in taste and half are semi-cooked. The ones that managed well enough spices and and proper cooking, were so sloppily presented that they weren't a pleasure to eat.
The chicken we ordered tasted liek boiled egg, which is not a good thing. The service was fast and polite, apart from the cleanliness, but that isn't something that'd invite me here again. A meal for two would cost you Rs. 500 and wouldn't be worth even THAT.
